[VIDEO] 060608 RAIN performs at S-Fone Forever Concert

On June 8, 2006 RAIN was a performer at the S-Fone Forever Concert held in Ho Chi Minh City, Viet Nam.  The concert was to celebrate the nationwide coverage by S-Fone, a mobile phone network.

RAIN rocked the stage with Bad Guy, How to Avoid the Sun, I Do, It's Raining and ended his part of the show with Instead of Saying Goodbye.  It is safe to say the crowd was not ready to say goodbye!

With his brilliant performance on an imposing stage and , Bi/Rain attracted more than 20,000 Vietnamese fans in the S-Fone Forever 2006 concert which was organized on June 8, 2006 at the Military Zone 7 Stadium, Ho Chi Minh City.


Bi once again affirmed his position as a South Korean king of pop and won the hearts of millions of fans in the world with his impressive performance and pro dancing skills.

The stadium resounded with cheers when he appeared in the concert. Bi really exhilarated over 20,000 audiences with his gentle and attractive voice and exquisite dancing skills.

Fans could not get enough from a mere five songs he performed including of Bad guy , How to avoid the sun , I do , It’s raining and Instead of saying “Goodbye”. Perhaps Vietnamese fans will have to wait for his next tour (next year) to satisfy their appetite.

Besides, a press conference was organized before the performance at Omni Hotel to introduce Bi’s “Asia Tour” of 11 Asian countries in 2007. “It will contain not only performances, but also as well meetings with my fans in Asian countries,” Bi said.

Reporter: What do you think about Viet Nam?

Bi/Rain : Viet Nam has many beautiful landscapes, and I wish that one day I will make a trip to enjoy myself. I know that I have a great number of Vietnamese fans through TV shows; I thank them for all their affection.

Reporter : You are a rare popular Asian singer who have great influence in the world’s entertainment industry and was chosen as one of the 100 People “Who Shape Our World” by Time magazine. What do you think about that?


Bi/Rain : I am very happy with the honorary title. I am so fortunate. Anyhow, I have not been successful in winning the American musical market yet. It’s just a start. I always try to overcome difficulties to make a break through into this market. And I want to let fans feel my great influence; I have exerted to bring joy to all of my fans.

Reporter : Viet Nam and South Korea will cooperate to produce films in the future. Do you think that you will take part in any?


Bi/Rain : Yes, I will, especially films that have good and significant contents.

Reporter : W hat are virtues of a woman that you highly appreciate? And could you please say something about your late beloved mother?


Bi/Rain : Mother is my idol. She had great influence on my life and career. As far as a future partner is concerned, she must know how to cook and cook well.

[VIDEO] RAIN ~ 2005.02.26 MTV Asia Aid Raining on BKK

December 26, 2004 the Indian Ocean was hit by an undersea earthquake which triggered a tsunami.  This natural disaster devastated parts of Indonesia, Sri Lanka, India, and Thailand.  MTV set up a concert to help raise funds to provide aid.  This video is the special broadcast on 2005.02.26 known as MTV Asia Aid Raining on BKK.  The special follows Rain from his departure in South Korea to his arrival in Bangkok, Thailand, his meetings with fans and rehearsing for his performance in the concert to be performed at Impact Arena.  Along the way we see other entertainers who have come to help with aid and catch small pieces of some of their performances.  We see Rain's full performance of It's Raining.

This video had originally been split into two pieces.  RAIN's Little Cloud™ has merged them back together so that you view this special as it originally aired. Credit is embedded in the video so please, if you re-upload, do not add your own name/stamp/logo to it.

1.  Rain went to my aunt's restaurant for dinner.  He said sorry no pictures but he offered a hand shake.  He's very polite.  My aunt said up to now the best star who visited her restaurant was xxx.  But from today onwards Rain is the best!  I took this picture in a hurry..

2.  I saw Rain today.  Previously when I saw him on TV, I never thought that he was good looking.  But today seeing his face and his body he looks so great.  He said my son is lovely, and touched his face.  He shook hands with me and even signed for me!

Today Rain came to the place (in Yeosu)run by my father and he rode a wakeboard. He is tall and has broad shoulders.  He wore a black sleeveless tee and he rode the wakeboard very well.  Even though I am not a fan I had this vicarious satisfaction hehe.  This is the first time I saw Rain in person and he is really, really handsome and cool.   

Another person posted two photos showing Rain on his wakeboard.  His comments: So cool and handsome.  He rides the wakeboard well.  He is even good at snapback!

[VIDEO] 050924 RAIN Performs Hallyu All Star Summit

RAIN performed at the Hallyu All Star Summit 2005.  It was broadcast live on FujiTV 2005.09.24.  This special event marked the 40th anniversary of the normalizationn of Korea-Japan diplomatic ties.  There were two concerts and RAIN performed at both of them.  He sang Bad Guy, I Do, It's Raining and Instead of Saying Goodbye at both concerts but changed clothes in between.  Video from the two concerts has been edited and combined to make one video featuring only Rain's performances.

The concerts took place at the Super Arena in Saitama Prefecture, Japan.
Tickets for the event sold out in less than a day and was attended by 24,000 people.
