Overseas R2B Ticket Donation Final Update

Our donation final update is here. Best wishes for the successful R2B premiere!!!

Many thanks to all of you who supported this donation.

Donation has been received from14 countries, 6 fan clubs and over 80 people and a total amount of 5,810,000 KWR (over 5,000 USD.) has been collected.  This amount, together with 1,250,000 KWR reserved from the last donation for R2B event, will make a total of 7,060,000 KWR.   This means we will be able to buy 706 tickets (cost per ticket is 10,000 KWR) to invite selected representatives to enjoy the R2B  premiere and to cheer for Rain on behalf of those who are not able to attend.

Because of limited capacity on 14 August, the 706 tickets will be distributed as follows:

14 August premiere – 620 tickets.

16 and 17 August at Yongshan CVG – 86 tickets. (16 August 2pm show: 45 tickets, 4pm show: 18 tickets. 17 August 2pm show: 23 tickets)

Korean clouds will help get some posters and collect the movie ticket stubs as souvenirs for those who participated in the donation.  Unfortunately it is too costly to send these individually to all the donors, so I will send some to the fan clubs who have supported this donation, and hopefully they could distribute these at their future meetings.

Receipts will also be obtained from all the organizations that benefit from the ticket donation.

The names of the individual donors and the fan clubs will be provided to Rainy Entertainment..  They may include these in the video prepared for Rain.

Do any of you naysayers even belong to The Cloud's official website or Rain's official fan club, The Cloud? Do you even read what goes on there?

Well, I AM a member of his official fan club. And I AM a member of The Cloud's fan site too. And I do read what goes on there. Almost every day. I have been involved in many donation projects in the past with the people who are organizing the ticket donation project and I can tell you that these people are completely legitimate. I have never been cheated out of money by them, and my donations have always been properly applied to the projects that they have coordinated. Also, the coordinator of this project is Heidi Li, who is The Cloud's (Rain's official fan club's) overseas fan coordinator. Heidi also helped Rainy Entertainment with collecting money from many countries for the Remember Rain Diaries.

Heidi and the other fans who are organizing this particular project are fans who have been with Rain from the beginning of his career. These people deserve Clouds' respect and trust. So, for me to keep sitting here and continue watching everyone libel their names and reputations and to not say anything would be horrible, indeed.

The reason that the beneficiary of the ticket donations cannot be named yet is because one HASN'T BEEN CHOSEN YET. The details of who the tickets are going to exactly haven't been completely decided, because they have to know how much money they have and how many kids the money will support before they call up an organization and say, "Hey, we have some free tickets for your kids." Any person with any SENSE and with any experience with organizing events would KNOW that. Since a beneficiary hasn't been chosen yet, it's a little difficult to name one. That makes total sense to me.

FYI, the official recipient of the project will ultimately be The Cloud, or Rain's official fan club. The Cloud will be the one buying the tickets and veteran Clouds who run Rain's official fan club (The Cloud) will be organizing the event on the ground in Korea. However, since The Cloud is a volunteer organization, it always takes them some time to get things organized. The intent of contacting global Clouds ahead of The Cloud's own project (which is still being discussed and planned), was to get the project started earlier for us Clouds who don't live in Korea.

Especially when everybody out there is trying like hell to tell you DIFFERENT? Ridiculous.

You new people interjecting yourselves into the Cloud community in such an ugly way are the ones that make ME suspicious as hell. What is your intent, really? How are your attempts to split up the global Cloud community and thwarting charitable projects created in their name doing an GOOD to anyone anywhere? Please do tell me.

Some of you may have remembered that we made a donation in the name of Rain’s World Clouds to Good Neighbors in September 2010 to commemorate Rain’s return to the TV screen via “The Fugitive, Plan B”. There had been positive media report about this.

What you may not know was that we had also invited 370 children from Good Neighbors various centres to the Adieu concert in Seoul at the end of 2010. We did that quietly at that time as time was short and people had just made their contributions.

CÓMO INSCRIBIRSE @RAIN’s THE CLOUD

(Club de Fans Oficial de Rain)

1.   Ingresar al siguiente link de The Cloud ... http://rain-cloud.co.kr/

2.   En la esquina superior izquierda ... Haga clic en 회원 가입=> Únete como miembro (Imagen de pantalla 1)

3.   Solicitará tipo de membrecía...

a. Haga clic en cuadro inferior derecho para Membrecía Extranjera 

b. Suscribirse a Membrecía Extranjera

4.   Complete sus datos personales- Ver Imagen de Pantalla 2

a. Nickname => Es el nombre que aparecerá en la página Cloud

b. ID es el nombre que usará para acceder al sistema y no es su nick!

c. Recuerde hacer clic en "Check" para "Posibilidad / Disponibilidad" - si no está disponible. Pruebe diferentes hasta conseguir una U que está disponible!

d. El resto debe ser manejable.

5.   Una vez que usted está de acuerdo haga clic en OK... y será miembro ...

6.   Recuerde siempre que cuando usted inicia una sesión... Debe tener su ID 아이디 y Contraseña [esto lo debe hacer junto a donde dice LOGIN- ver Imagen de Patalla 3]

7.   A continuación, ingresará a la página con su Nickname en la parte superior.

Tenga en cuenta que hay muchas secciones para ver:
