This is an important update regarding the contest conducted by The Cloud:  "Attention!!! My Rain Event."  Please be sure to read and remember that all video clips must be submitted by May 31st.

An explanation on the Attention!!! My Rain Event

The organizer of the event has received many video clips which are not performances by fans themselves.  Instead they select different performances of Rain and then re-created a video clip showing Rain's performance.

The intention of the event is to let fans demonstrate their love for Rain with their own performance of Rain's songs or dance moves.  You could participate as an individual or as a group.  The performer in the video should be the fans themselves and not Rain.

Rather than disqualifying those video clips showing Rain's performance, the organizer will accept them but such video will score very low marks.

Some fans have submitted videos which were created previously, not for this event, although the videos did not enter any contest.  Please note the organizer will award higher points to videos which are created specifically for this event.

All you need is your passion and your originality in creating your own version of Rain's songs or dances.  Have fun doing it and win some nice prizes!

O explicatie pentru Attention!!! My Rain Event

Organizatorul evenimentului a primit multe videoclipuri in care performantele nu sunt indr-adevar ale fanilor.  Ei aleg diferite performante ale lui RAIN si dupa aceea recreaza un videoclip aratand performanta lui RAIN.

Intentia evenimentului este ca fanii sa isi demonstreze dragostea lor pentru RAIN cu performantele lor proprii ale melodiilor si miscarilor de dans ale lui RAIN.  Poti participa individual sau ca un grup.  Performerul din videoclip ar trebui sa fie fanul insusi si nu RAIN.

In loc de a descalifica acele videoclipuri care arata performanta lui RAIN, organizatorul le va accepta dar asa un videoclip nu va avea multe puncte.

Cativa fani si-au depus videoclipurile care au fost create in prealabil,nu pentru acest eveniment, desi videoclipurile nu au fost in nici un concurs.  Va rugam sa notati ca organizatorul va premia cu mai multe puncte videoclipurile care au fost create special pentru acest eveniment.

Tot ce ai nevoie este pasiunea ta so originalitatea in a crea propria ta versiune a melodiilor sau dansurilor lui RAIN.  Distrati-va facand asta si castigati premii frumoase!

Una explicación sobre la Attention!!! My Rain Event

El organizador del evento ha recibido muchos vídeos que no son las actuaciones de los propios fans.  Ellos seleccionan diferentes actuaciones de RAIN y luego se vuelven a crear un vídeo que muestra el rendimiento de RAIN.

La intención del evento es que los fans demuestran su amor por RAIN con su propio desempeño de las canciones o movimientos de baile de RAIN.  Puedes participar de forma individual o de grupo.  El artista en el video deben ser los propios fans y no RAIN.

En lugar de descalificar a los vídeos que muestra el rendimiento de RAIN, el organizador los aceptará, pero dicho vídeo marcará marcas muy bajas.

Algunos fans han presentado vídeos que se crearon con anterioridad,no para este evento,aunque los videos no entraron en ningún concurso.  Tenga en cuenta que el organizador otorgará puntos más altos a los vídeos que se han creado específicamente para este evento.  

Todo lo que necesitas es su pasión y su originalidad en la creación de su propia versión de las canciones o danzas de RAIN.  Diviértete haciendolo y gana algunos premios agradables!

Penjelasan tentang Attention!!! My Rain Event

Penyelenggara acara tersebut telah menerima banyak klip video yang bukan merupakan penampilan fans sendiri. Sebaliknya mereka membuat video dengan mengedit beberapa video dari penampilan RAIN.

Tujuan dari acara ini adalah untuk memberikan kesempatan bagi para fans untuk menunjukkan cinta mereka pada Rain dengan menyanyikan lagu-lagu RAIN atau melakukan gerakan dancenya . Anda bisa berpartisipasi secara perorangan atau sebagai kelompok. Para performer dalam video tersebut harus adalah para fans sendiri dan bukannya RAIN.

Daripada mendiskualifikasi semua video yang menampilkan RAIN, pihak penyelenggara akan menerimanya namun video tersebut akan mendapat nilai yang sangat rendah.

Beberapa fans telah mengirimkan video yang dibuat sebelumnya, dan bukan untuk acara ini, meskipun video tersebut tidak pernah mengikuti kontes apapun. Harap dicatat pihak penyelenggara akan memberikan penghargaan poin yang lebih tinggi untuk video yang dibuat khusus untuk acara ini.

Korean fans waited outside the hall to wait for our Corporal Ji Hoon after the concert. There was an officer in charge so they chatted to him happily while waiting. Suddenly they heard a low, mellow voice: "Mr. Officer, you are leaving?" And then they saw our Rain walk out in big strides. Our Corporal held out his hands first to offer handshake to the fans, and said to them: "Don't waste your words with that officer. I am just kidding ^___^!" Our Rain even asked the fans to take care of their health as the weather is still quite chilly. He is such a warm-hearted, loving caring Corporal Jung Ji Hoon!

20 March Friendship Bridge concert in Seoul

Many fans sat in the front on the left side of the concert hall holding silver tassels to cheer for our RAIN. They were particularly happy when our RAIN turn to their side and acknowledged them quite often during his performance.  A fan gave her advice: bring silver tassels with you, the more tassels you have the more eye contact you may have with our RAIN ^___^

In the middle of singing Hip Song, our CORPORAL JUNG greeted the audience: "Nice to meet you all.  Are you doing well? Many fans came today!  It won't be long till we will meet again.  Until then, fighting!" 

Our CORPORAL has lost a lot of weight. A lucky Korean fan who managed to shake hands with our RAIN wrote about her wonderful experience:

As a polite cloud she had to wait until the end of the concert ,so she did not dash out to follow our CORPORAL JUNG when he finished his performance.  She and her friends waited outside afterwards but did not see him.  A gag singer came out, saw the large crowd and commented "I believe there is such a large crowd because Rain is here today!"

The fans waited for a long while and still did not see our RAIN, so they decided to leave.  On their way they saw a DEMA bus so they took the opportunity to ask the driver about our CORPORAL.  The kind driver told them he hadn't come out yet so the five of them decided to wait there.

Soon they heard noises from the KBS hall and saw our RAIN walking towards their direction.  He walked in big strides while fans around him had to run to catch up with him.  In an instant our RAIN was right in front of them.  Intuitively they called out "OPPA, OPPA" and held out their hands.  Our RAIN saw them and shook hands with them. 

Our RAIN then got into the DEMA bus and sat at the back. KCM followed and drew down the curtain. In between this short moment they saw our RAIN's beautiful jawline and his white jade skin.

Our RAIN continued to wave to the fans from his seat after he got into the bus.  As the bus left, he turned and waved goodbye again to fans from the rear window.

Another fan took this picture showing our RAIN leaving the concert place.

She said she did not want to use flash as it may cause discomfort to our RAIN so the picture came out quite dark.  Our RAIN was the first to come out, his pose well fitted to that of a squad commander^__^  and his hand is very warm!!

In mijlocul melodiei Hip Song, caporalul nostru Jung a intampinat audienta : " Imi pare bine sa va cunosc pe toti. Sunteti bine? Multi fani au venit astazi! Nu va dura mult pana ne vom intalni din nou. Pana atunci,FIGHTING!"

Caporalul nostru a pierdut mult din greutate. Un fan corean norocos care a reusit sa dea mana cu Rain al nostru a scris despre minunata sa experienta.

Ca un Nor politicos, ea a trebuit sa astepte pana la sfarsitul concertului, asa ca ea nu a pornit sa-l urmeze pe Caporalul nostru dupa ce si-a terminat prestatia. Ea si prietenii ei au asteptat afara dupa aceea dar nu l-au vazut. Un comediant a iesit, a vazut multimea si a spus : " Cred ca aceasta multime se afla aici datorita prezentei lui Rain astazi aici !"

Fanii au asteptat pentru mult timp si tot nu l-au vazut pe Rain al nostru, asa ca au decis sa plece. Pe drumul lor , ei au vazut un autobuz DEMA , si au profitat de oportunitate in a-l intreba pe sofer despre Caporalul nostru. Blandul sofer le-a spus ca nu iesise inca asa ca cei cinci s-au decis sa astepte acolo.

In curand ei au auzit zgomote din Sala KBS si l-au vazut pe Rain al nostru mergand catre ei. El mergea cu pasi mari in timp ce fanii de langa el trebuiau sa alerge sa tina pasul cu el. Deodata, Rain al nostru era chiar in fata lor. Intuitiv, ei l-au strigat " Oppa , oppa " si si-au intins mainile. Rain al nostru i-a vazut si a dat mana cu ei.

Dupa aceea, Rain al nostru a urcat in autobuzul DEMA, si s-a asezat in spate. KSM l-a urmat si a tras perdeaua. In acest scurt moment, ei i-au vazut ferma linie a maxilarului si pielea lui alba ca de jad.

Rain al nostru a continuat sa faca cu mana fanilor de pe scaun dupa ce a urcat in autobuz. Cand autobuzul a plecat, el s-a intors si le-a facut fanilor cu mana din geamul din spate.

Ea a spus ca nu a vrut sa foloseasca blitz-ul pentru ca putea sa-i cauzeze discomfort lui Rain al nostru asa ca poza a iesit cam intunecata. Rain al nostru a fost primul care a iesit, prezenta lui este cea potrivita unui Comandant de Echipa ^_^ Si mana lui este foarte calda!!

When it gets really hard A GOOD TRANSLATOR will consult his co workers, other translators, from other countries, teachers, in the search of words and sometimes to avoid using a word that may cause confusion or a distortion in the message that can end either in hurting its meaning or the people sending it or receiving it.

Since translators know each part of this huge world has their own rich vocabulary and costumes, we try our best to become the “neutral” link between the different locations, and it is OUR job not the speaker’s or writer’s and definitely not the reader’s or listener’s to MAKE THIS MULTICULTURAL CONNECTIONS, this is what we prepare for, this is why we translate.

We see as translators the desperation that provokes not understanding a situation that is of the most importance for the people involved, we try our best, and we keep on trying to learn to be the communication line in a multicultural conversation.

La fuente, el mensaje, el destinatario (a quién le llega el mensaje), EL CANAL DE COMUNICACIÓN, es un medio muy valioso para el traductor, es la razón por la que nuestra profesión existe, LA COMUNICACIÓN, como traductores aprendemos desde el primer día, que nuestra meta es ayudar a que la gente se entienda entre sí a pesar de pertenecer a una cultura distinta y hablar diferentes idiomas, somos felices si podemos ser el enlace que conecte a la gente alrededor del mundo, y a veces podemos experimentar la dicha que causa saber que hemos establecido una conexión donde no había nada mas que confusión.

A veces un traductor se enfrenta a un texto sin sentido, complicado, que es un desafió  pero como traductores ¿no amamos los desafíos? Nos preparamos para esto, estamos listos, sabemos que hacer.

Un buen traductor sabe que al momento de traducir un texto con muchas palabras, términos técnicos, uno debe consultar y prepararse, consultar a personas que trabajen en esa área, en la búsqueda de las palabras y “jerga/argot” que se usa, y preparar una lista de palabras y fuentes confiables, para poder ofrecer una traducción lo más fiel posible, un buen traductor es también un DETECTIVE DE PALABRAS. Al investigar y aprender terminología, palabras usadas en diferentes áreas, sociales, legales, médicas, etc.

Un buen traductor y con experiencia sabe que es también importante CONSIDERAR el destino de la traducción, en otras palabras, los LECTORES y la AUDIENCIA, si la traducción esta destinada a personas que trabajan en la misma área, el traductor puede tomarse la libertad de brindar una traducción técnica y concisa.

JAMÁS van a escuchar de un buen traductor “esta es la palabra que se usa, así que queda así”, ya que sabemos es nuestro trabajo asegurarnos que nuestro mensaje llegue de manera clara, y sabemos que trabajamos para personas de distintos lugares, brindamos NOTAS, EXPLICACIONES, ENLACES, FUENTES, DEFINICIONES DE DICCIONARIOS, puede que encontremos la palabra “similar” inmediatamente, puede que no. Buscamos la forma de asegurarnos que el mensaje llegue y se procese de la manera correcta.

Podemos dejar saber a los lectores y oyentes que hemos trabajado duro para brindar “las palabras, términos usados” y que hemos consultado a profesionales, pero también debemos ayudar a que comprendan de que se trata el mensaje eligiendo la palabra correcta, antónimos, sinónimos, definiciones, palabras similares a nivel cultural.
