We tried to find out accommodation close by Yongshan as many overseas fans will be coming.

Today we conducted a physical check.^^

Accommodation is for 2 occupants per room.

1). 5-10 minutes walk within Yongshan CVG,  Motel --> Price 35,000 won
   
Number of Rooms: 14

2).  15-20 minutes walk within Yongshan CVG, Motel -->

standard room: 55,000 won
special room:  65,000 won

Number of Rooms:

standard room: 8, special room: 2

For type 1) and 2) accommodation, rooms are relatively small.  There is no elevator.

3).  Hotel about 10-15 minutes walk within Yongshan CVG, double room  --> Price 80,000 won

4).  Hotel near No. 1 Line Jongno 3 station, about 5 stops to Yongshan Station  (around 20 minutes)

R2B 14 August VIP Premiere Ticket Donation

R2B Return to Base  will hold a VIP premiere in Seoul on 14 August.  The official Cloud will organize a global viewing of the movie for world Rain fans on that day.  Please refer to the following notice for details:

We hope supporters of Rain from all over the world could gather together on 14 August to cheer for Rain.  We believe that’s what he hopes his world clouds will do.  However we also understand that due to various circumstances, many overseas fans will not be able to join this premiere in person.

For those overseas fans who are not able to be in Seoul, perhaps you could still participate by donating movie tickets, so that we could invite some less fortunate youngsters or students to watch the movie on your behalf.  This is a meaningful event to show Rain the love and support of his world wide fans.

Ticket donation could be individual, group, or fan club based. We will sort out the donors by countries, and will prepare a full list and will pass this to Rainy Entertainment to be delivered to Rain. Veteran Korean clouds will help contact youth organizations or schools.

Raincloudhk Hong Kong,  BiwithRain Taiwan and RainVietnam FC Vietnam will help collect donations from Hong Kong, Taiwan and Vietnam fans.  Donors in these countries can donate in local currencies.  For the rest of overseas fans donations can be made in US$ via paypal.  Paypal account: heidi.shanghai@hotmail.com.  Please specify your name, group or fan club and your country, and please choose "personal" payment.  A 3rd individual party will verify the amount donated.

Please note that this ticket donation drive is not an official Cloud initiative.  Participation is voluntary.  We are not sure if the official Cloud will organize a ticket donation, but as overseas fans we decided to go ahead first as time is drawing near.

We hope as many overseas fans can attend the premiere in Seoul on 14 August as possible.  For those who can’t be there, perhaps you could show your support with this ticket donation.

Thank you to all of your who have made your donation.  Here is an interim progress report.

Our Korean clouds have remitted an amount equivalent to 500 tickets (one ticket is about 9000 won) to Rainy Entertainment representative.

Korean clouds have visited and consulted different organizations in order to optimize this ticket donation drive.  These 500 tickets will be distributed as follow.  To avoid translation error, I just copy the original Korean words:

RAIN's fans from all around the globe send in their well wishes for the success of his new movie "R2B: Return To Base". Despite of his absent on the event due to his Military Service, fans from home and abroad still cheering for him. The rice wreaths (드리미화환 ~ deurimi hwahwan) sent by local and overseas fanclubs attracted much attentions at the venue.

No less than 2.04 tonnes of rice contributed by RAIN's fans from 7 countries including RAIN's Official Fanclub 'The Cloud', Binamoo, Japan, USA, China, Mexico, Vietnam and Hong Kong.

Previously, RAIN's fans from around the world contributed 3.61 tonnes of rice for charity at his concert, The Best Show, September 24 -25, 2011 in Seoul before he enlisted for Military Service,

The movie director, 김동원 ~ Kim DongWon and RAIN's co-stars attended the July 9th "R2B: Return To Base" showcase held on the outdoor stage in Seoul's Namsan N City. The casts of the movie and their roles were also introduced during the showcase. '"R2B: Return To Base" is an action movie about informal military operation over Seoul. The aerial action attracted interest from the audience. The movie is scheduled for August release.

When fans or representatives of fan clubs asked to meet with Rainy Entertainment, sometimes we will entertain the request, purely for courtesy and for better communication. 
When fan clubs are mentioned, it is normal to show interest in the number of members such fan clubs have recruited.  
However, this does not imply we want to collect personal data of their members. 
We have not given any mandate to anyone to collect fans’ personal data on our behalf.

To ensure that your computer equipment is not infected by this Malware, please follow below steps:

1. Ensure that your computer equipment is protected with updated Anti Virus software
2. Perform Malware checking by accessing http://www.dns-ok.us/

a. If DNS Resolution = Green, it means that your equipment is not infected

b. If DNS Resolution = Red, follow the steps to fix the infection in http://www.dcwg.org/fix/

Very sexy, extremely enjoyable, immensely powerful performance and vocal skills.  The concert tells clearly, through Rain, and nobody can do it but him,  why Rain’s concert “lives up to its fame”.  It’s like a one round match game, when he dazzlingly showed all the knowhow and experience that he had accumulated after holding numerous concerts.  The flow of the show was extremely good. He embraced all, from standing, to the fences left and right, to the 1st and 2nd floor.  He spent great effort to make sure nobody felt left out.  Such meticulous care yet never losing his composure is hard to find in singers who are only 29 years old.

The part I wish to give the highest mark is Rain’s vocal supported by the band. The band was excellent (especially the guitarist) and the song arrangements they choreographed together did justice to Rain’s live performance. One has to reconsider the appraisal of Rain, not as a live “dance singer” but a “singer”.  He danced and turned, he jumped up and down the chairs.  But in each powerful action he did not miss his breath or his tune.  Such quality is simply amazing.

I chatted with his officers afterwards and discovered that Rain started his rehearsal almost from midnight before the concert started.  He hardly had any sleep.  I really don’t know how he could maintain his condition and his voice. (And don’t forget he had 2 concerts in one day.)

Personally I would choose “One”, “Love Story” and “Not a Single Day” as the highlight of today’s concert. The choreography was just fantastic.  Rain’s charming baritone/bass voice, falsetto, ad lib, together with the band, supported each other wonderfully and created great harmony.  “One”, especially, explains why Rain’s performance can only be described as King’s performance, because he vividly shows us a King’s Stage. (Rain has definitely surpassed just being an outstanding technician. The sense of unity between his songs and his performance is just the best in the universe.  Seeing him on stage one really doesn’t know whether the movements come first or the songs come first.  Such talent is not something one could achieve simply through effort.)

The poise and the charisma of an over 10 years celebrity artist stood out in him, as he showed his dexterity when a couple and fans were invited to the stage, and his imposing charm when teaching the audience to dance.  (As an aside, I was totally brought into a fantasy watching his magnificent performance and forgot where it was and who I was.)

My original intention was to have a peek of the man Jung Jihoon through this concert, but I failed.  When Rain was on stage, this was exactly what you saw, and no gap was left to allow you to do otherwise.  His songs, his comments, were for all the audience.  His only objective was to let the audience have an enjoyable time full to the brim.  The common emotion outburst or grumble was not there. You wouldn’t know inside him whether he was strong or whether he was hurt.  The clear thing was, for the audience who bought his concert tickets, he gave his heart and soul and did his best.  The clear truth is that he is a great professional singer.   

    

Whenever Rain had a new performance, or a new album, he showed a different aspect and moved forward.  And today I saw that his progress is in the present continuous tense.  It verified that he, as always, is not a complacent star.  I am full of expectation for him.

Rain has been on top in the past 10 years, and I believe the probability of him still being on top in future is very high.
